The inspiration for this series is the word Arcadian. When not referring to the region in Greece, Arcadian is a feeling of rustic tranquillity. The attempt here is to have rough, free marks and soft, calm colours to bring out that feeling of being rustic and tranquil at the same time. Here are some shapes as well which pay homage to the shape of the Grecian islands.
