Pause and Interlude are the signature paintings for the show titled 'susegad'. They are about the necessity of taking that pause between things. It is the space between what was and what is yet to come. A time to savour the completion or even to grieve the ending of things. This pause is a time to rest and a time to let hope build.
The Monsoon is such a time in Goa, where there is a halt to tourism and beach bumming. It is the best time to savour though. And nature puts up a beautiful and wild show in that interlude.
